About Sr. Vidette Venter:

Founder of Die Wondkliniek / The Woundclinic in 2008, Sr. Vidette Venter matriculated in 1983 at Sentraal Hoerskool Bloemfontein. She did her 4 and a half year Nursing Degree Course (H.B.Soc.sc) at The University of Orange Free State and qualified as a registered/professional nurse in June 1988. She worked as a Registered Nurse in the Pietersburg Provincial Hospital for the next 2 years. She then started working at the Pietersburg Private Hospital in the year 2000 for the next 17 years gaining valuable experience in the female surgical ward, ICU and high-care billing and stock control, and the last 4 years, billing and stock control in theatre. This set the stage for her decision to start a private practice in wound care. Her other interests include Basic Trauma Counseling, Alternative Healing Modalities, training in Basic Life Support and First Aid.
Ten years of experience in advanced wound care.
